The protean work of Sasha Ertel, combining photographic, video and performance research, uses disparities and misappropriations to point out the absurdity of social norms. Sasha Ertel prefers to ask questions without answers and to instigate a fiasco in order to provoke
a crisis in the hierarchies of values and add to the good done, the damage done, the failure.
In 2019, he joins forces with Apolline Lamoril and Iris Winkler, for the conception of Quinze étés, three exhibitions in Arles, Avignon and Marseille, presenting the photographic collection of the Paca cultural agency, made up of 15 years of images gleaned in the summer, on the territory, during festivals.
