Marie CONSTANT
Marie Constant is a graduate of the Institut des Arts de Diffusion, specialising in film directing (IAD – Belgium), then of the ENSP in 2018.
Since then, she has been assisting Lionel Genre in the ENSP’s Digital Laboratory where she is in charge of inkjet printing. In charge of initiations to technical tools and data management, she also runs a workshop on risographic printing, in collaboration with L’Atelier du Palais (Arles).
Marie Constant’s artistic approach centres on new technologies and their consequences upon the different domains of our daily lives. Her work confronts us with the manner in which new objects generate new relationships between individuals, changing our daily habits and producing new behaviours. Smartphones, tactile surfaces, social networks and the flow of information are thus the raw material for an exploration of the contemporary habitus.
